An avant-garde anime OVA series directed by Kazuya Tsurumaki. The story revolves around Naota Nandaba, a 12-year-old boy whose mundane life is turned upside down when he is hit by a Vespa scooter driven by the mysterious alien woman Haruko Haruhara. After being struck, Naota's head becomes a portal from which robots manufactured by the extraterrestrial company Medical Mechanica emerge. The series is known for its wild animation style, coming-of-age themes, and references to pop culture and other anime.
